Engineer II, Software Development

Role Overview

The Engineer II, Software Development role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications with a primary focus on front-end architecture using Angular. This position requires deep front-end expertise combined with practical back-end development experience in .NET and deployment within AWS cloud environments.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of front-end development experience and operates comfortably across the full application stack, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, performant, and cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using Angular and TypeScript
• Implement scalable front-end architectures, reusable component libraries, and state management patterns
• Collaborate with product, business and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core / .NET
• Deploy, monitor, and support applications within AWS environments
• Ensure application security standards, including authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT)
• Optimize performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across front-end and back-end layers

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in front-end application development using Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and developing applications using .NET Core/.NET (C#).
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on AWS.
• Understanding of web security, performance optimization, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
