Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

Join LSEG as a Quality Assurance Engineer to drive innovation and quality in a leading global financial markets infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for developing automated test scripts, implementing advanced locator strategies, and contributing to the adoption of AI-assisted testing approaches to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and regression test suites
• Build reliable and maintainable automation solutions using Playwright, WebdriverIO, or similar frameworks
• Implement effective locator strategies (CSS, XPath, Playwright locators, etc.)
• Contribute to the adoption of AI-assisted and Agent-based testing approaches
• Automate functional, regression, and end-to-end testing scenarios
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve test failures and flaky test cases
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in Test Automation
• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO and/or Playwright
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
• Experience with locator strategies for dynamic web applications, shadow DOM, and iframes
• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools and AI Agents
• Experience using Visual Studio Code with Copilot
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, APIs)
• Experience with source control tools such as Git

Nice to Have

• Experience in API automation testing (REST/GraphQL)
• Knowledge of CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Exposure to performance, accessibility, or security testing
• Experience with test data management and mocking
