Regular Software Test engineer (CV)

Role Overview

Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-end household appliances, is expanding into new smart product lines. As part of this strategic initiative, a large-scale global program is being implemented across the company's IP portfolio. This includes the development of new embedded software and enhancements to cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks within agreed timeframe and according to design/functional spec.
• Completely accountable for quality and timely delivery of own tasks.
• Test cases creation based on requirements/SW architecture.
• Build up test environment.
• Test cases execution, report test results and feature status.
• Test case logs/results reporting, defects registering (defects tracking system).
• Defects verification/validation/reproduction.
• Make test-design decisions according to Test Plan/Strategy and requirements.
• Automate tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform integration and regression testing.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a comparable field.
• Solid understanding of testing SW systems in at least one field (embedded, backend or mobile).
• Few years of experience with test automation.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Python.
• Few years of experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Few years of experience with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Few years of experience working with agile teams (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
• Team-player having very good communication skills.
• Self-organized and highly collaborative.
• English: C1 Advanced.

• Safety-critical standards knowledge.
