Role Overview
As a Software Engineer at Maersk, you will join the global People Technology team to build scalable, future-ready solutions that support Maersk’s people strategy. You will work across modules including Recruitment, Compensation, and Benefits, leveraging both frontend and backend technologies to optimize HR technology solutions. This role involves driving AI and automation initiatives, including Generative AI applications, to streamline HR processes and enhance employee experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance applications across frontend and backend technologies to support business needs.
- Develop AI-driven automation solutions, including Generative AI applications, copilots, and autonomous agents.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant APIs.
- Configure and support Workday modules including Recruitment, Compensation, and Benefits.
- Ensure code quality through CI/CD practices, code management, and Workday configuration best practices.
- Contribute to team growth through peer reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Advise Product Owners on technical risks, debt, and improvement opportunities.
- Work within Agile Scrum teams to manage change requests and strategic projects.
- Perform operational tasks including incident management and mass loads.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience building and supporting applications on the .NET stack.
- Hands-on experience with Vue frontend frameworks.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs with knowledge of OAuth2.0 and OWASP security.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including microservices, App Services, and API Management.
- Proficiency in DevOps, including GitHub CI/CD, Terraform, and Docker.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.
- Experience with Workday (Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, or Benefits).
- Experience with BDD and TDD practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
