Role Overview

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) within the Product Development division at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will engage in a comprehensive, structured training program that combines technical, practical, and leadership development. You will gain hands-on experience by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Engage in technical, practical, and leadership development through a structured program.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and operations.
• Execute key engineering projects to drive innovation and product excellence.
• Apply fundamental principles such as Engineering Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics.
• Develop skills in problem analysis, design thinking, concept generation, and detailed design.
• Work on mechanism design, gears, shafts, subsystem design, and CAE.
• Explore material selection, vehicle system validation, and architectural design for transmission and hydraulic systems.
• Prepare for future engineering trends including Machine Learning, Robotics, IoT, and AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
• Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
