Software Engineer

Role Overview

Orange Business is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. The role involves ensuring commitments in terms of quality, costs, and deadlines are met, participating in release planning, and actively contributing to application development within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the activities by holding the commitments in terms of quality, costs and deadlines.
• Participate in the Release planning and identify the risks.
• Application development.
• Analysis and Problem solving.
• Efficiently working on Agile processes and being an active member in Scrum team.
• Ensure no blocking in the development activities.
• Having good expertise on Programming and Scripting.
• Analyze quality of service and suggest improvements, wherever possible.
• Creation and update of Requirement documents, technical analysis reports etc.
• Participate in code reviews and integration testing.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Requirements

• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Proficient on Yocto Framework for embedded Linux distribution.
• Desirable to have hands on on OpenWrt and prplOS.
• Should be having good level of Networking knowledge.
• Good to have experience on ubus-cli, controller-container, USP Protocol (TR-369) and TR 181 Data model.
• Good to have: Familiarity with prpl (prpl Foundation) and its frameworks.
• Good to have: Experience on AMX libraries and LXC Containers.
• Good to have: Knowledge of Communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP) will be an added advantage.
• Optional: Should have hands on with network routers.
