Mobile Application Developer (Android)

Role Overview

As a Mobile Application Developer - Android, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications. You will work on global products involving large-scale data, sub-millisecond latency, and multi-cloud/colocation environments to build optimized systems for the ad-tech industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement and manage Android components such as Activities, Services, Broadcast Receivers, and Content Providers.
• Create and optimize custom user interfaces applying UI/UX best practices.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Utilize algorithms and data structures to solve complex problems and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, troubleshooting responsiveness and resource usage.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of Android app development experience with native Android.
• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent degree from a premier institute.
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Gradle, Coroutine, and Dagger2.
• Deep understanding of Android components (Activity, Service, Broadcast Receiver, Content Provider).
• Mandatory working experience in unit testing.
• Proficiency with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, Robolectric, and Espresso.
• Strong algorithmic skills and data structures knowledge.
