Role Overview
Medinex Workforce is seeking a Backend Developer Intern to support our remote engineering team. You will gain hands-on exposure to building the server-side logic, APIs, and databases that power our applications through real project work and direct mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Help develop and maintain server-side application logic
- Support design and implementation of RESTful APIs
- Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage data
- Collaborate with front-end developers on integration
- Debug backend issues and performance bottlenecks
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Computer Science, IT, or similar
- Working knowledge of at least one backend language/framework
- Basic understanding of databases
- Familiarity with API design principles
- Own laptop and stable internet connection
