Backend Developer Intern (Node.js, Python, REST APIs)

Role Overview

Medinex Workforce is looking for a Backend Developer Intern to support server-side application development, API integration, database operations, and software testing. This opportunity is designed for candidates who want practical experience building the systems and services that power web applications. This is a Full-Time Internship, Remote, for a duration of 1–3 months with a stipend of ₹15,500 per month.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing backend features and application services
• Build and test REST API endpoints under technical guidance
• Connect backend services with relational or NoSQL databases
• Implement basic business logic and data-processing functions
• Investigate and resolve backend errors and integration issues
• Support API testing and functional verification
• Maintain technical documentation for assigned modules
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other technical team members

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Python, Node.js, or Java
• Understanding of REST APIs and database fundamentals
• Familiarity with Git and version control is an advantage
• Academic or personal backend projects are welcome
