Data Analyst Intern (Python, SQL, Power BI)

Role Overview

Medinex Workforce is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to support data-driven projects through analysis, reporting, visualization, and data quality activities. This role is suitable for candidates who want practical exposure to Python, SQL, Power BI, and business analytics in a remote professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize datasets for analysis
• Use SQL to extract and structure relevant business data
• Assist with data analysis using Python and common analytical libraries
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and visual reports
• Identify trends, patterns, and data quality issues
• Prepare recurring reports and analytical summaries
• Support data validation and documentation processes
• Collaborate with team members on analytics-related assignments

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL
• Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Understanding of spreadsheets and data-handling concepts
• Academic, personal, or project-based analytics experience is a plus
