Job Description
Role Overview
Medinex Workforce is seeking a Data Science Intern to support our remote analytics team. You will gain exposure to real datasets, model-building basics, and the process of turning numbers into decisions through real project work and direct mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Help clean and prepare data for analysis and modeling
- Support building and testing simple predictive models
- Run statistical checks to understand trends and outliers
- Assist in creating visualizations to explain findings
- Keep clear notes on methods and results
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar
- Basic Python skills
- Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, or Scikit-learn is a plus
- Comfortable with foundational statistics concepts
- Curious, structured approach to problem-solving
- Own laptop and stable internet connection
