Role Overview
Medinex Workforce is seeking a Python Developer Intern to support software development projects involving backend programming, application logic, and API integration. This opportunity is intended for candidates looking to strengthen their Python development skills through practical project work in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based application components
- Assist with backend functionality and feature implementation
- Build and test REST APIs under technical guidance
- Work with databases to retrieve and manage application data
- Troubleshoot coding issues and assist with debugging
- Write readable, maintainable, and well-structured code
- Participate in testing and code review activities
- Maintain documentation for assigned development tasks
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Python fundamentals and object-oriented programming
- Basic understanding of databases and web application concepts
- Familiarity with Django, Flask, or FastAPI is an advantage
- Academic or personal programming projects are welcome
