SQL Developer Intern (SQL, MySQL, Database Management)

Role Overview

Medinex Workforce is seeking a SQL Developer Intern to support database-focused assignments involving data retrieval, query development, reporting, and database maintenance. This opportunity is suitable for candidates who want to develop practical skills in relational database systems and structured data management. This is a Full-Time Internship, Remote, for a duration of 1–3 months with a stipend of ₹15,500 per month.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries for data retrieval and reporting requirements
• Assist with maintaining relational database records
• Work with tables, joins, views, and basic database structures
• Validate datasets and investigate data inconsistencies
• Support the preparation of database-driven reports
• Assist with query testing and performance improvements
• Document database procedures and assigned technical tasks
• Coordinate with development and analytics teams on data requirements

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
• Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar database systems is preferred
• Understanding of data types, joins, filtering, and aggregation
• Academic or personal database projects are an advantage
