Data Scientist Intern

Role Overview

Megamet is looking for a motivated and analytical Data Scientist Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. You will work with real-world data, assist in developing analytical models, and support the team in generating meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets.
• Assist in developing and implementing data-driven solutions.
• Support the development of Machine Learning and predictive models.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Work with Python, SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
• Collaborate with different teams to understand business requirements.
• Assist in improving data quality and maintaining databases.
• Conduct research on new data science and AI techniques.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Understanding of Machine Learning concepts and algorithms.
• Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or Matplotlib.
• Knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and work on real-world projects.
