UI/UX Designer Intern

Role Overview

Metaminds Studio is a globally recognised interactive website and mobile app development agency. We are looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern to join our design team. This internship offers hands-on experience creating engaging digital experiences for web and mobile platforms for international clients.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily with US and EU-based clients using excellent English communication.
• Be a proactive AI user to design better and faster.
• Assist in designing UI/UX for websites and mobile applications.
• Create visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Work with Figma to create layouts, components, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to bring designs to life.
• Assist in creating and maintaining design systems and reusable UI components.
• Conduct basic research and analyse user requirements.
• Make design improvements based on feedback.
• Stay updated with current UI/UX and digital product trends.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and processes.
• Familiarity with Figma and other design/prototyping tools.
• Understanding of typography, colour theory, spacing, grids, layouts, and visual hierarchy.
• Basic knowledge of responsive web and mobile design.
• A portfolio or sample projects (academic, personal, or freelance).
• Creative thinking and strong attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Interest in using AI tools to improve the design process.
• Fluent English communication skills are mandatory.
