Associate Software / Platform Engineer I

Role Overview

As an Associate Software / Platform Engineer I, you will assist in maintaining and monitoring Azure-based data platforms, supporting critical services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database. This role involves supporting data engineering and ETL development to ensure robust data pipelines and high-quality data models for analytics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring Azure-based data platforms including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
• Monitor platform performance, data pipeline execution, and system health.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, and quality checks.
• Document data flows, processes, and technical specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-1 year of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Cloud Technologies, or Software Development.
• Internship experience in Azure, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics is preferred.
• Basic understanding of Azure cloud services and SQL.
• Basic Python programming skills.
• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL concepts, and Git version control.
• Familiarity with Power BI, REST APIs, or Azure Data Factory is a plus.
