Job Description
Role Overview
The Data Scientist I plays a critical role in the data and analytics life cycle, significantly contributing to production-grade data and analytics solutions. This individual contributor role requires strong analytical skills and expertise in machine learning to drive impactful results.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, validate and deploy production-grade rule-based & machine learning models using structured and unstructured data
- Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering
- Monitor, evaluate and improve model performance
- Ensure model development follows quality, security, compliance, explainability and responsible use of AI guidelines
- Collaborate with partners across Business, Technology, Operations and D&A capabilities including Data Governance, DevOps, and BI
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience
