Job Description
Role Overview
Join MetLife as a Jr. DevOps Engineer in a hybrid role based in Hyderabad. As part of our New Frontier strategy, you will help build an AI-enabled, people-centered future, supporting Azure-based infrastructure and implementing AI-driven approaches to CI/CD and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Follow Git-based source control practices including branching strategies and environment promotion.
- Assist in automating deployments and setting up monitoring and alerting for pipeline health using YAML templates.
- Learn and apply AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot to support workflows and productivity.
- Support and operate Azure-based infrastructure, with a focus on AKS.
- Improve platform reliability through monitoring, automation, and proactive troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in DevSecOps.
- Experience with Azure core services, networking, and IAM.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of Terraform and container governance.
