Role Overview
MetLife is seeking experienced Software Engineers to contribute to its digital and AI transformation. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native software solutions while working in an Agile environment within the Global Technology department.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications using modern technologies including Front-end, Back-end, APIs, and Databases.
- Implement best practices for cloud, AI/Data, and emerging technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with global teams to drive digital transformation.
- Follow Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in application software development, cloud-native applications, and APIs.
- Business proficiency in English and Japanese.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
