Role Overview
Support MetLife’s enterprise migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise within the DevSecOps COE. Focus on executing repo and CI/CD migrations, establishing GitHub-native standards, and enabling teams using GitHub Enterprise capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Modernize CI/CD using GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, templates, and standardized automation aligned to COE standards.
- Administer and govern GitHub Enterprise, including repo onboarding, access models, branch protections, runners, and security controls.
- Drive DevSecOps adoption by integrating security scanning, compliance checks, and enterprise controls into pipelines.
- Enable developer productivity through automation, Copilot adoption, consulting, and continuous improvement driven by metrics.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Accounts, or related discipline.
Experience
- 6-8 years of strong hands-on experience in DevSecOps and GitHub Enterprise platform.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in GitHub Enterprise and CI/CD, including GitHub Actions, repository governance, secure DevSecOps practices, and migration from Azure DevOps.
- Strong automation and collaboration skills, with proficiency in Git, scripting/APIs, and ability to advise and enable teams across the enterprise.
