Software Platform Engineer II

Role Overview

MetLife is seeking a professional to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. As part of our New Frontier strategy, you will help build an AI-enabled, people-centered future by integrating advanced technologies into our financial services platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) for scalable and reusable solutions.
• Integrate Salesforce with CRM systems and contact center tools (e.g., Genesys, NICE, or similar) using APIs and open channels.
• Implement AI-driven features such as intent recognition, conversational flows, and personalization within Salesforce applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Salesforce, CRM, and contact center platforms.
• Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with best practices and security standards.
• Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for deployed solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience with API integrations and connecting CRM systems with external contact center tools.
• Ability to implement AI-driven features and conversational flows.
• Strong understanding of application performance optimization and security standards.
