Role Overview

Microchip’s Corporate Design Automation (DA) team in Chennai is looking for a Software Engineer to do web design. A successful candidate in this role will design, implement, and test new web pages and edit existing web portals. Candidate will interact with stakeholders across the globe to understand the requirements and provide deliverables. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong attention to detail, an ability to multitask, and an ability to work independently and on a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test new web pages.

Requirements

• B. E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 2 – 5 years of experience.
• Strong working knowledge on Python and Django.
• Strong working knowledge on web page development – HTML, CSS, JQuery, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge on Web UI design.
• Working knowledge on relational databases especially PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge on both Linux and Windows environments.
• Working knowledge on AI/ML.
• Self-motivated team player with good communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python-based AI libraries.
