Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced L2 Cloud Engineer with strong Microsoft Azure CSP expertise to manage, troubleshoot, secure, automate, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure. The role involves L2 operational support, incident resolution, infrastructure administration, security, monitoring, automation, and collaboration with L3, DevOps, and security teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support and administration for Azure VMs, VNets, Storage Accounts, Azure AD/Entra ID, App Services, Load Balancers, and other core Azure services.
- Troubleshoot Azure networking, security, performance, availability, and resource-related issues.
- Provision, scale, optimize, and maintain Azure workloads while implementing governance, tagging, and cost-control practices.
- Support hybrid connectivity using VPN, ExpressRoute, and Azure AD Connect.
- Automate Azure deployments using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Implement Azure security best practices including IAM, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, and Defender for Cloud.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and high availability using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering, Cloud Support, or System Administration.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure VMs, Networking, Azure AD/Entra ID, Storage, Load Balancers, and App Services.
- Experience with Azure IAM, RBAC, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Basic hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
- 25% Domestic & International travel required.
