Platform Engineer

Role Overview

Milestone Technologies is looking for a Platform Engineer II to join our IT Development team in Hyderabad. You will be part of a growing team focused on delivering high-scale, mission-critical solutions within a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise with application and database integration technologies, including solution and service-oriented architectures.
• Attend daily scrums, project meetings, and department meetings.
• Liaise with Test Analysts, Product Management, Project Management, Release Management, DBAs, and Infrastructure teams.
• Perform hands-on development of SOA-related project tasks, including analyzing, documenting, and designing applications for global consumption.
• Work with Product Management to gather and document requirements.
• Collaborate with the architecture team to create detailed Functional and Technical Specification designs.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in a product development organization.
• Experience in design and development using Java, Spring, Angular, and MVC.
• Exposure to agile product development models, specifically Microservices-based development and deployments.
• Experience dealing with mission-critical production issues involving high data volumes and speed.
• Previous work experience in a Payment or e-commerce company is preferred.
• Proven ability to develop large-scale online transaction systems.
