Junior Frontend Developer (React.js)

Role Overview

MindMappers is building a modern career guidance platform that helps students understand themselves, explore careers, and make better educational and career decisions. We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to help turn product ideas into polished, functional experiences. This is an initial 3-month contract/probation period with potential for a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive web experiences using React.js and Vite
• Design and develop dashboards, forms, reports, cards, and assessments
• Convert ideas and wireframes into clean, intuitive UI
• Integrate REST APIs and handle loading, error, and empty states
• Work with authentication, protected routes, and JSON data
• Debug frontend and API issues
• Build reusable and maintainable React.js components
• Ensure a good experience across desktop and mobile
• Use Git/GitHub for development and collaboration

Requirements

• Good HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
• Working knowledge of React.js (components, props, state, and hooks)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
• Basic Git/GitHub knowledge
• Ability to build responsive interfaces
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strongly preferred: Figma familiarity, Tailwind CSS, or TypeScript
