Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are hiring a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and VisualCron to manage and optimize enterprise data pipelines. This role involves building event-driven workflows, automation, and robust ETL systems to support mission-critical data operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage advanced workflows using VisualCron (API triggers, cloud tasks, .NET scripting)
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and SSIS
• Perform T-SQL performance tuning, indexing, and stored procedure optimization
• Implement automated monitoring, error handling, and alerting mechanisms
• Manage secure data transfers (SFTP workflows) and integrations
• Ensure high availability and resilience of 24/7 data pipeline operations
• Collaborate with teams for data modeling and warehouse design improvements

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering / Database Development
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server and advanced T-SQL
• Hands-on experience with SSIS, ETL pipelines, and package development
• Experience with VisualCron (event-driven workflows, external integrations)
• Solid understanding of relational database design and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with source control (Bitbucket) and deployment processes
• Ability to work in Night Shifts and join immediately
