DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate is an immediate joiner with strong communication skills, capable of managing complex data infrastructure and automation workflows in an in-person environment.

Responsibilities

• Run and automate deployments of Trino/Starburst infrastructure, including workers, coordinator/master, and full environments.
• Manage security protocols surrounding data infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for code deployment.
• Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in DevOps roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes on GCP and/or AWS.
• Proficiency in Terraform scripting for Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid understanding of Trino architecture and data federation.
• Knowledge of Apache Iceberg and the lakehouse/federation model.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, window functions, and correlated subqueries.
• Ability to work in person in Bangalore.
