AI Solutions Architect & Backend Engineer

Role Overview

Moral Coding is a vetted builder network building production AI systems, workflow automation, and autonomous agent crews. We are looking for an AI Solutions Architect & Backend Engineer to own production infrastructure for our multi-agent platforms and internal tooling, focusing entirely on backend execution and AI system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-agent topologies including orchestrators, specialized councils, and worker agents.
• Build asynchronous Python services, event routers, and chat platform integrations.
• Develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to connect LLMs to databases and APIs.
• Manage Node.js and TypeScript architecture, including Next.js server-side architecture and webhook processing.
• Structure Prisma ORM schemas and manage Supabase (PostgreSQL) migrations.
• Debug and extend n8n workflows, including visual state management and retry logic.
• Manage HashiCorp Vault for secure credential storage and network isolation.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of production AI experience in orchestration and NLP routing.
• Deep knowledge of Docker for containerization and network security.
• Experience building Human in the Loop (HITL) asynchronous approval flows.
• Ability to chain LLMs (Anthropic, DeepSeek, Gemini, OpenAI) and research APIs.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of core computer science experience with FastAPI, aiohttp, and Node.js.
• Proven track record of shipping real projects (Proof of Work).
• Comfort with early-stage startup reality, including an initial period without immediate cash compensation.
