Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Mechatronics Design Intern to support the design, development, prototyping, and integration of electro-mechanical systems, robotics, and automation solutions. The role provides hands-on exposure to real-world product development and manufacturing in our Research & Development department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing electro-mechanical systems using CAD tools.
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Support integration of sensors, actuators, electrical components, and mechanical systems.
- Assist in prototyping, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
- Support DFM/DFA, manufacturability, and ease of assembly activities.
- Assist with component identification and procurement, including sensors, actuators, fasteners, and electrical parts.
- Perform basic inspection and quality checks of components and assemblies.
- Maintain BOMs, drawings, test records, and technical documentation.
- Work with mechanical, electronics, and firmware teams for smooth system integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Recent graduate or currently pursuing the final year.
- Basic understanding of mechanical design and electro-mechanical systems.
- Strong interest in robotics, automation, product development, and prototyping.
