Test Automation Engineer (API & End-to-End Automation)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API automation testing and end-to-end test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable automation frameworks using Java and Rest Assured, with the ability to automate complex business workflows across APIs and web applications. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for API and end-to-end testing.

● Build and execute automated API test suites using Rest Assured, Java Script / Type Script & Java

● Automate end-to-end business scenarios involving APIs and web applications.

● Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver where required.

● Validate functional, regression, integration, and smoke test scenarios.

● Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to identify defects and ensure high-quality releases.

● Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.

● Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and improve automation coverage and reliability.

● Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test strategy and quality improvements.

Must Have

● 5+ years of experience in Test Automation.

● Strong hands-on experience with Java.

● Extensive experience in API Automation using Rest Assured.
