Information Security (InfoSec Compliance) Intern

Role Overview

The Information Security Intern participates in a structured learning experience designed to provide hands-on exposure to cybersecurity, information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance within a financial services environment. This role focuses on the governance, oversight, and compliance aspects of an Information Security program.

Responsibilities

• Develop foundational knowledge of departmental operations, processes, and industry practices through training and hands-on learning.
• Participate in Information Security team meetings and actively contribute to projects and assignments.
• Conduct research and analysis to support team initiatives, identify trends, and provide recommendations.
• Assist with documentation, reporting, and process activities to understand organizational standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to learn business operations and organizational objectives.
• Understand policies and procedures to ensure compliance and manage operational risks.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Risk Management, Business Technology, or a related field.
