QA Engineer

Role Overview

MTechZilla is seeking a QA Engineer to own quality across client engagements including web apps, mobile apps, and backend services. You will work within engineering pods, embedded with client product teams, ensuring releases are stable and performant using a mix of manual testing and AI-augmented tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and exploratory testing
• Validate responsive UI behavior across browsers and devices
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
• Use AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate test case creation and edge-case discovery
• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders and product teams

Requirements

• 2-4+ years of professional QA experience across web and mobile applications
• Strong manual testing fundamentals: test case design, exploratory, and regression testing
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or equivalent
• Experience using AI tools (Claude Code, ChatGPT, or Cursor) in a testing workflow
• Excellent English communication skills for global client interaction

Nice to Have

• Experience testing React Native mobile apps
• Familiarity with AWS-hosted environments
• Experience with Supabase or similar BaaS platforms
• Performance or load testing exposure (k6, JMeter)
• ISTQB certification
