Product Design Engineer

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Product Design Engineer to design and build beautiful, high-performance digital products from idea to production. This is a hybrid role for someone who has strong product taste and can also ship polished frontend experiences. You should be comfortable moving between wireframes, prototypes, design systems, and production code.

Responsibilities

• Design clean, intuitive user experiences for web products
• Turn ideas into wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Build production-ready frontend interfaces using modern tools
• Work closely with founders, engineers, and stakeholders to shape product direction
• Create and maintain reusable design systems and UI components
• Improve product quality through iteration, feedback, and user-centered thinking
• Balance speed, usability, and visual polish in every release

Requirements

• Strong eye for visual design, spacing, typography, and interaction quality
• Ability to translate product requirements into elegant user experiences
• Frontend development skills with tools like React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
• Experience with Figma and modern prototyping workflows
• Strong product judgment and ability to make fast, high-quality decisions
• Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership

Nice to have:

• Experience designing and building AI-native or workflow-heavy products
• Familiarity with design systems, animations, and micro-interactions
• Experience shipping end-to-end features independently
