PHP Web Developer – 2+ Years Experience

Role Overview

We are looking for a PHP Web Developer to join our development team. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Dhanbad. We are seeking a hands-on individual who is willing to learn and comfortable working on different types of web projects. Candidates should be able to take a requirement, understand the existing code, develop the required functionality, and troubleshoot issues independently. Freshers with strong practical/project experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dynamic websites and web applications using PHP
• Work with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Develop and integrate REST APIs
• Work with existing websites and troubleshoot technical issues
• Develop custom features and modules based on client requirements
• Work with frameworks such as Laravel / CodeIgniter
• Work with WordPress and customize themes/plugins when required
• Optimize websites for performance, security and responsiveness
• Fix bugs and resolve technical issues
• Work with Git and maintain clean, organized code
• Coordinate with the development team to deliver projects on time

Requirements

• 2+ years of practical experience in PHP web development
• Good knowledge of PHP & MySQL
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with Laravel or CodeIgniter
• Experience with WordPress
• Understanding of REST APIs and third-party API integrations
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of Git
• Ability to work independently and understand existing codebases
