Responsibilities

• Play a key role in driving customer value by building data solutions.
• Build, maintain, test, and optimize a scalable data architecture.
• Carry out data extractions, transforming data for use by data analysts and scientists, and loading data into data platforms.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of the bank’s data structures and metrics, advocating for change in product development.
• Practice DevOps adoption in data engineering delivery, including root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with core technology and architecture teams to build data knowledge and solutions.
• Develop a clear understanding of data platform cost levers to build cost-effective and strategic solutions.
• Source new data using the most appropriate tooling and integrate it into the overall solution.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in ETL technical design, including data quality testing, cleansing, monitoring, data warehousing, and data modelling capabilities.
• Experience engineering and maintaining innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions using AI.
• Experience using programming languages alongside knowledge of data and software engineering fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of modern code development practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to proactively engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Good understanding of data usage and dependencies with wider teams and the end customer.
• Experience extracting value and features from large scale data.
