Role Overview
Join NatWest Digital X as an Infrastructure Engineer at the associate level. You will engineer infrastructure technology for public and private cloud environments, ensuring security, resilience, and sustainability. You will use automation to provide testing and a route to live, working closely with customers through their CI/CD pipelines to deliver effortless and secure digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Engineer infrastructure technology for public and private cloud environments with built-in observability and guardrails.
- Use automation to provide testing and a route to live for products via CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to inform product roadmaps and manage technology lifecycles.
- Design intuitive, self-service infrastructure products and contribute to Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Provide operational support for pattern or product-related issues and resolve production issues.
- Develop and maintain expertise across F5 ADC, Global Load Balancing, WAF, NGINX, and Broadcom AVI platforms.
- Contribute to automation solutions using GitLab and Ansible.
- Partner with application and platform teams to onboard workloads and optimize traffic management.
Requirements
- Experience in software development or automation scripting such as Python or Shell.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile working practices.
- Experience in utilizing modern Infrastructure as Code via tooling.
- Ability to design and deliver secure, resilient, self-service application delivery services.
