Role Overview

Join NatWest Digital X as an Infrastructure Engineer. You will engineer infrastructure technology for public and private cloud environments, ensuring security, resilience, sustainability, and operational requirements are met with built-in observability and guardrails. This is an associate-level role focused on creating effortless and secure digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Engineer infrastructure technology for public and private cloud environments.
• Use automation to provide testing and a route to live for products via CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to inform product roadmaps and technology lifecycles.
• Design intuitive, self-service infrastructure products.
• Contribute to the delivery of infrastructure as code solutions.
• Provide operational support for pattern or product-related issues.
• Generate innovative ideas and drive delivery through product features.

Requirements

• Minimum four years of experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related cloud platform roles.
• Minimum three years of strong experience in AWS products and services, with a focus on security and controls.
• Extensive automation experience with demonstrable skills in IaC using Terraform and Python.
• Practical experience designing and using CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies using tools like Jira.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
