Site Reliability Engineer

Role Overview

As an Associate level Site Reliability Engineer, you will support the improvement of non-functional and operational characteristics such as availability, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, security, incident response, and capacity planning. You will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring a principled approach to delivering change in a safe and secure way.

Responsibilities

• Meet defined service level objectives and continually improve systems and environments.
• Manage the day-to-day health of both production and non-production environments.
• Respond to incidents and provide clear communication regarding incident status to stakeholders.
• Support release processes and suggest improvements to deployment workflows.
• Provide technical expertise to establish risk tolerance for products and services.
• Measure and monitor availability, latency, and overall system health.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of reliability systems thinking and software engineering experience.
• Experience using a data-driven and scientific approach to fact-finding.
• Ability to identify wider business impact, risk, and opportunity.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial services is a plus.
