Software Engineer - Full Stack, VP

Role Overview

This is an opportunity for a technically minded individual to join us as a Software Engineer at Vice President level, responsible for designing, producing, testing, and implementing working software across the system lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Working in a permanent feature team, developing knowledge across business, applications, data, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Liaising with principal engineers, architects, and stakeholders to understand platform function and business support.
• Applying Agile methods to software development on the backlog.
• Producing resilient and long-lived software and acting flexibly to cope with future needs.
• Delivering intentional architecture and formulating emergent design through innovative ideas, experimentation, and prototyping.
• Designing and developing software with a focus on the automation of build, test, and deployment activities, using executable patterns.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with strong full stack experience in software design and implementation, capable of exploiting programming languages to solve complex problems. You must also be capable of complex requirements analysis capture and validation against and with business and systems requirements.

Additionally, you will demonstrate:

• Build and maintain scalable backend services in Java and responsive React frontends.
• Develop REST APIs, integrate databases and systems.
• Own high-level and low-level design, designing scalable system architectures.
• Strong experience in GenAI use-cases.
• Strong experience in AWS AgentCore with use-case and Platform.
