Software Engineer - IAM & Cloud

Role Overview

Join NatWest Digital X as a Software Engineer at the associate level. You will be part of a digital revolution, working to engineer, protect, and operate simple, secure, and effortless digital experiences. This role involves engineering and maintaining innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, and robust solutions within a feature team.

Responsibilities

• Produce complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality to add business value.
• Work within permanent teams responsible for the full software life cycle, from initial development to decommissioning.
• Collaborate to optimize software engineering capabilities.
• Design, produce, test, and implement working software solutions.
• Work across the entire life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Liaise with engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform.

Requirements

• Background in software engineering, software design, and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and upgrade/patching activities.
• Understanding of IAM domains such as Ping Identity, Ping Access, Ping Federate, Ping Data Governance, or Daon IdentityX.
• Experience in Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, and Ansible.
• Understanding of SAML, OAuth/OIDC, and Java REST Web Service.
