Role Overview

This role is based in Bangalore, India, and involves working within a feature team to deliver high-performance, secure, and robust solutions across the full software life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and maintaining innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions.
• Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality that adds value to the business.
• Working within permanent teams responsible for the full life cycle: initial development, enhancement, maintenance, replacement, or decommissioning.
• Collaborating to optimize software engineering capability.
• Designing, producing, testing, and implementing working software solutions.
• Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment, and operations.

Requirements

To take on this role, you’ll need a background in software engineering, software design, and architecture, and an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers. Production Support experience is desirable.

• Experience of working with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools and wikis.
• Proficiency with Unix commands and scripting.
• Working experience of AWS and Terraform.
• Experience of DevOps and Agile methodology and associated toolsets.
• Knowledge on Load balancers / Networking Concepts.
• Change & Incident Management Knowledge.
• Experience of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance.
