Role Overview
Join NatWest Digital X to help engineer effortless and secure digital experiences. As an Associate level Software Engineer, you will work within a feature team to engineer, maintain, and optimize innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, and robust software solutions across the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Produce complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality to add business value.
- Work in permanent teams responsible for the full lifecycle, from initial development to decommissioning.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business analysts to optimize software engineering capability.
- Design, produce, test, and implement working software solutions.
- Manage the lifecycle from requirements analysis and design through coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
Requirements
- Background in software engineering, software design, and architecture.
- Experience with Prompt engineering, Python, React Js, MCP protocol, and architecture.
- Knowledge of Cloud & DevOps, AI workflow frameworks, RAG, and REST APIs.
- Experience in multiple programming languages or low-code toolsets.
- Proficiency in DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to solve highly complex, analytical, and numerical problems.
- Experience implementing programming best practices regarding scalability, automation, virtualization, and performance.
