Responsibilities

• Engineering and maintaining innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions.
• Working within a feature team to engineer software, scripts, and tools.
• Liaising with other engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform.
• Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality.
• Working in permanent teams responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development through enhancement, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Designing, producing, testing, and implementing working software solutions.
• Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment, and operations.

Requirements

• Background in software engineering, software design, and architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java Microservices, Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, AWS services, and cloud architecture with 4+ years of experience.
• Expertise in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and automation.
• Experience with container platforms (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, Lambda).
• Experience with Event Driven Architecture such as Kafka.
• Experience with AWS Lake Formation.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, scalability, and reliability principles.
