Platform Engineer II/Payment Postilion Engineer

Role Overview

NCR Atleos is a leader in expanding financial access, optimizing branches, and maximizing self-service availability for financial institutions globally. As a Platform Engineer II/Payment Postilion Engineer, you will support, maintain, and administrate payment platforms, ensuring high availability and operational efficiency for ATM and POS-driving systems.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, maintaining, and administrating payments platforms.
• Planning, implementing, and managing infrastructure and application changes.
• Performing advanced troubleshooting of customer and internal system incidents.
• Documenting processes, procedures, and environments.
• Preparing operational records and reports using SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Participating in a 24x7 on-call support rotation.
• Managing system backup, restore testing, and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuation plans.
• Supporting UAT, development processes, and PCI/ISO compliance.
• Onboarding and coaching junior team members.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience, with 3-5 years specifically in Level 2-3 payments technical support and implementation.
• Proven experience with Postilion and supporting ATM, POS, or transaction (EFT) processing switches.
• Experience with payments framework maintenance and operations.
• Proficiency in working with databases, writing SQL queries, and using stored procedures.
• Knowledge of crypto, security, and compliance regulations applicable to transaction processing.
• Post-secondary education or an IT-related degree.
