Platform Engineer II/Payment Postilion Engineer

Role Overview

NCR Atleos is looking for a Platform Engineer II/Payment Postilion Engineer to support, maintain, and administrate payment platforms. This role involves managing infrastructure and application changes, performing advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability for financial institutions and retailers globally.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, maintaining, and administrating payments platforms.
• Planning, implementing, and managing infrastructure and application changes.
• Performing advanced troubleshooting of customer and internally reported system incidents.
• Documenting processes, procedures, and environments.
• Preparing Operational records and reports using SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Participating in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
• Managing system backup, restore testing, and Disaster Recovery plans.
• Supporting UAT, development processes, and PCI compliance.
• Onboarding and coaching junior team members.

Requirements

• Must have Postilion experience and experience supporting ATM, POS, or transaction (EFT) processing switches.
• 3-5 years of experience in Level 2-3 payments technical support and implementation.
• Experience with payments framework maintenance and operations.
• Proficiency with databases, writing SQL queries, and using stored procedures.
• Knowledge of crypto, security, and compliance regulations for transaction processing.
• Post-secondary education or an IT-related degree.
