Postilion Application Engineer

Role Overview

NCR Atleos is looking for a Platform Engineer II/Payment Postilion Engineer to support, maintain, and administrate payment platforms. This role involves managing infrastructure and application changes, performing advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability for financial institutions and retailers globally.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, maintaining, and administrating payments platforms.
• Planning, implementing, and managing infrastructure and application changes.
• Performing advanced troubleshooting of customer and internally reported system incidents.
• Documenting processes, procedures, and environments.
• Preparing Operational records and reports using SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Participating in on-call 24x7 support rotation.
• Managing system backup, restore testing, and Disaster Recovery/Business Continuation plans.
• Supporting UAT, development processes, and PCI/ISO compliance.
• Onboarding and coaching junior team members.

Requirements

• Must have Postilion experience and experience supporting ATM, POS, or EFT processing switches.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Level 2-3 payments technical support and implementation.
• Experience with payments framework maintenance and operations.
• Proficiency with databases, writing SQL queries, and using stored procedures.
• Knowledge of crypto, security, and compliance regulations for transaction processing.
• Post-secondary education or relevant IT-related degree/experience.
