Software Engineer

Role Overview

NCR Atleos is a leader in expanding financial access, optimizing branch operations, and maximizing self-service availability for financial institutions and retailers globally. We are looking for a skilled engineer to produce high-quality software solutions and contribute to our agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality Software Solutions
• Identify and implement process improvements in Engineering practices
• Provide input and technical content for technical documentation, user help materials and customer training
• Assist in estimating task effort and dependencies, responsible for team commitments within the Sprint, as a scrum team member
• Work effectively in a team environment composed of peers and cross-functional members
• Work independently with limited supervision
• Troubleshoot and solve problems involving complex systems

Requirements

• Experience with software design, development and deployment, and object-oriented software development
• Practical experience integrating AI/Machine Learning (ML) capabilities into software using APIs or libraries
• Understanding of prompt engineering, AI limitations, and responsible use
• Good understanding of Windows Operating systems: Windows 10/Windows 11
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Agile development principles
