Quality Engineer

Role Overview

NCR Voyix is a global platform-powered leader in unified commerce for shopping and dining. We are looking for a Quality Engineer to involve themselves in every step of the software development process, from design to testing, ensuring high-quality delivery for complex end-to-end systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies for complex end-to-end systems.
• Define and develop test automation strategies and frameworks for Web, Mobile, and Desktop platforms.
• Understand API contracts and troubleshoot issues with API definitions.
• Analyze application logs using Java and implement Behavior Driven Development processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for functional and non-functional defects using data analysis and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps, solution engineers, and hardware engineers.
• Work within the SAFe methodology to refine solution integration and test best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4 to 6 years of experience in enterprise testing.
• Strong experience with the Retail industry and testing POS applications.
• Solid hands-on experience with Object-oriented programming, preferably JavaScript.
• Extensive experience in test automation using Playwright or Selenium.
• Hands-on expertise in developing BDD feature files using Cucumber.
• Experience with API and Database testing and automation.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
