Mechanical Engineering Intern — SolidWorks & 3D Printing

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team in Hyderabad. This role focuses on taking parts from concept to physical prototype using SolidWorks and 3D Printing technologies. You will work closely with the embedded team to design enclosures and mechanical components that house electronics and maintain tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Design parts in SolidWorks and manage the process from concept to tested prototype.
• Operate and maintain 3D printers, including slicing, tuning, and troubleshooting print failures.
• Iterate designs based on physical prototyping results.
• Collaborate with the embedded team on parts that house electronics or require precise movement.

Requirements

• Hands-on SolidWorks experience (modeling, assembly, and detailing).
• Practical 3D Printing experience, including knowledge of layer adhesion, supports, and material selection.
• Proven experience repairing or upgrading 3D printers (e.g., hotends, extruders, or boards).
• Must be based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate at your own expense.
• Available to join within one week and work full-time on-site.

Details

• Stipend: ₹12,000 per month.
• Location: On-site in Hyderabad (No remote or hybrid options).
• Duration: 6 months, with potential for a full-time role.
