Node js Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Node.js Developer with 1+ year of hands-on experience to join our development team in Kochi, Kerala. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Node.js and backend development, along with good problem-solving and programming skills. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable backend applications while working closely with the development and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Implement security, performance, and scalability best practices.
• Work with Git/GitHub for version control.

Requirements

• 1+ year of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript.
• Good understanding of Express.js or other Node.js frameworks.
• Experience in developing REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB or any relational database.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and callbacks.
• Ability to work from the Kochi office.
• Must be willing to commit to a 2.5-year service bond.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React.js or any frontend framework.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Familiarity with JWT, OAuth, or API authentication.
• Basic understanding of Docker and cloud platforms.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
